What is everyone's prediction about the new Rob Zombie Halloween movie? Classic or Chessey Remake? I'm hoping for a new Classic.

I can't say for sure, but in my opinion, I hope classic remake, not cheesy remake!

BTW, see my topic about Rob Zombie's Halloween film in "Halloween and Horror Movies" section on the main page of this forum please.

Ohh, my goodness... Wait and see till Halloween film is coming to the theater! Or, should we have to wait till its come to DVD with UnRated version? I think I have to go see it at the theater!

i'm gonna go w/ classic here. i like the little spin on the original story
w/ michael's mother and him actually loving his sister.
if you don't know what i'm talking about, go to you tube and look it up

I think it will be awful. But, who knows. They are starting back at square one again. You can not put anyone in the lead as Laurie other than Jamie Leigh Curtis...it just should never be.

Dee Wallace Stone is going to be in it, which is cool, and Danielle Harris will be in it too. My friend has met both of them.

OOh....guess who I met and who has emailed me???

Adrienne King from the original Friday the 13th. I am going this summer to the place Friday the 13th was filmed, and I got my friend an autographed poster that Adrienne King made and signed, and photos of her and Betsy Palmer, and Betsy Palmer gave me an autographed photo too.
I am so excited...I bought my friend this hardback book called "Crystal Lake Memories". It will be a whole themed day...I can hardly wait. We are going sometime in July.

I recently read an interview with RZ and he said he was in no way interested in sequels or restarting a franchise. He will be involved with this one movie and be done, whether they make more or not. I can respect that, and it bodes well for the film IMO. As a fan he wouldn't want to let down the original, but as a director will he be able to deliver??
