Yes I have seen a ton of ideas offered.....lets see popcorn balls - candy or caramel apples - cider umm those are the main ones I can think of.

Are you having mostly snacky foods? Or is this like a plate deal?

Make sandwiches and cut them in to shapes with Halloween cookie cutters.

Kids like Ham and cheese or Bologna and cheese, and for adults you can make chicken salad or hamsalad. They are easy and fun to do.

You can make sweet and sour metballs.

Take frozen meatballs....and a jar of chili sauce and either grape or black berry jelly, or you can even use cranberry sauce, and put them in on low heat in a crock pot. Easy Easy.

Make Deviled egg eyeballs.
Make regular deviled eggs, sprinkle with paprika and stick a green olive in the middle.

What about those fingers...it's like a cookie or a pretzel that you have added an almond on the end of. It looks just like a finger if done right. Martha Stewart has a pretty easy recipe for it (check out the halloween party guide).

What she has in there that really rocks is pumpkin cupcakes. Those are so totally awesome and so super easy!!! It makes a lot too.

The thing about making food for a party, is to make food that people will actually eat...some stuff looks cool, but it gets wasted because it isn't any good, you have to make food that tastes good, and not just looks good.

So if you've got the time, one thing that totally rocks is the Panna Cotta brain that Alton Brown makes on his Deep Space Slime episode of Good Eats. It's so totally awesome tasting and pretty easy to do actually...if you have the brain mold (you can get those at a lot of party stores, check out any of the Halloween Expresses or maybe a Spirit Halloween store).

I seem to be in with marzipan last year or so, what about making some small models? Like.......

Witches hats
Skulls (us white marzipan)
Pumpkins

Its get you having a ball with food colours and placing them on display, and its a tasty nibble for anyone who loves marzipan!

Cookies, or buns(muffins) with icing decorated tops like spider webs, or pumpin faces?

try make a 'brew' well lots of different juices, or choco in fancy halloween mugs/glasses.

These are simple ides but Martha Stuwart has fantastic images of her ideas for party food, check out her site! i wish i was having a party to do the things.....

Willow x
