Ham, turkey or something else

I was wondering what everyone made for Christmas and I didn't see a poll so I thought I would make one. My grandmom, who makes the meals every holiday has always made a ham for xmas.

We used to make a Turkey but it was so close after Thanksgiving that we had just used up the last of the Turkey by Christmas LOL we now do a Roast of Flilet Mignon or a Roast Beef
Ham to me is for Easter!

We have ham for both xmas and easter. We are the same way with the turkey though.

Thanksgiving it's Turkey, hands down. That's kind of a no-brainer.
Christmas (which is what the question was targeted at) It's GOOSE!
The Mrs. truly makes the best Christmas goose dinner you can imagine!!!
Now, if I could only get her to cook rabbit for Easter!

Goose for Christmas but oh how I do love Ham! I'd love to have both, but the goose is work enough. Honey Baked spiral ham, yuuuuuuuuum

I could never eat rabbit. I had the opportunity to eat rabbit, and I just about gagged.

Turkey on Thanksgiving, Ham on Easter. Don't really have a staple for Christmas. I like the Goose idea though, very "Dickens"

I've made a rib roast for the past couple of years and it is DIVINE. It's certainly an expensive slab of meat but well worth it. I don't think I'm going to even bother this year though, my husbands family are such weirdos about meat being "well done" whereas my family ( myself,daughter and brother) prefer it rare. And of course a prime rib must be rare..so as much as I hate to say it...they're just not worthy
