Egg-nog/brandy recipe??

Anybody have a good recipe for spiked eggnog?

There's a recipe for old fashioned home made spiked egg nog in Jimmy Carter's Christmas book that his Dad made every year. I used to make homemade (milk, sugar, vanilla & eggs), but my wife being a scientist is paranoid about various maladies from raw eggs. Now I just buy it at the grocery store and add rum or bourbon, depending on what I think my guests would like, to taste. As one says when he's asked if he would like some eggnogg, "Sure, easy on the egg."
