Homemade Vanilla Extract

I came across a way to make homemade vanilla extract and thought that I would share. Not only does homemade vanilla extract taste so much better than commercial, but it can also be given to friends and families as a homemade Christmas gift.

All you need for this recipe is vodka, vanilla beans, and glass bottles.

Pour your vodka into the glass bottle.
Place a strip of vanilla beans into the bottle and seal.

The extract tastes best if you allow it to steep for at least a month.
