Hooch is doin' her happy Halloween dance...just got off shift, and don't have to be back until NOV 1ST! (Happy happy joy joy: dancing feet!!!) My whole week can be devoted to what I love best: GETTING READY FOR HALLOWEEN!!! Decorating, listening to spooky cd's, last minute costume touches, getting ready for the party on the 28th...making food, buying ahem,"spirits"...sending cards to my friends with Halloween confetti in them and stickers all over them...riding around on good weather days with the top down, and the JOLs just a smilin'...ain't life grand!!! Tomorrow I'm baking my husband's favorite fall dessert: Pumpkin Bars. MMMMMMgood! And of course, daily discourse with my favorite bunch of Hallowloonies....you all are the BEST!!! Thanks from the bottom of my heart for giving me a place to fully express myself and NOT be laughed at. My friends and family know I love Halloween, but they don't understand like you guys do. So sorry for the rambling post, but I feel so good, I had to let it out!!! Happy Haunting!

Good for you Hoochy, have a great week.

Alas, I have to work all week and the Halloween spirit that I had found and trapped a couple of weeks ago has now deserted me.
I blame the very mild weather in the UK, it doesn't feel Autumnal at all yet

I am with you all the way Hooch...on all of it. The anticipation kills me now. It's like I got alot done, but I have so much more to do, and I want to try and make it last for as long as possible. Friday is the day I look forward to, I work on the food from morning until I fall in to bed that night, and I play my CD player..listen to some spooky stuff, and put some 70's classics on, I just love being in my own home, and preparing everything, it is so fun.

I start my new job on November 1st so I have from now until then as a "holiday" too. I never really thought about it as a full week to celebrate Halloween....I am totally going to do that. : )

Hope you have a great week!!!!

Oh Hooch...I am so very jealous!! hah hah. I have to sit here at work thinking about how many horror movies are on (or that I could be playing).

Actually I think I will try to work from home tomorrow! I just gotta see if I can get this program to put on my computer at home and then I am golden.

I should have followed your lead and just taken the week off but I took off in the beginning of October to go to see my in-laws in Seattle. We should all keep it in mind for next year...Hooch can start a tradition for us!

Have lots of outside-of-work fun for us girl!

Like Hooch, my SUMMER HOLIDAYS began on the weekend and go on to Nov. 01..getting the last minute stuff done and kicking back and enjoying the movies...not even the snow can get me down..but I must confess to an urge to take out the next person who sings;" have a holly jolly Christmas.." (I've heard it twice now..)

I'm 13 too mate, I love Halloween, and i would like it more than christmas if it wasn't for the presents and being together with all the family for christmas dinner.

Anyone else agree?
