if i knew what i wanted specifically, i wouldnt need to post :D
i was thinking about being marla singer (from fight club) but not many people would know who that is
i look alot like her
i just need a costume idea that stands out, that nobody else would think of - but i also want to be something where people will know who im supposed to be.

horror themed is good
if corpse bride wasnt so cliche id do that
same with evil pixie.

please share any ideas you have.

If you look like Marla Singer, pick another Helena Bonham Carter character, maybe the old lady piano teacher from "Big Fish"?

If you're going for Helena characters, why not her Morgan Le Fey from the Merlin miniseries? She's dressed in a great outfit on that.

:D Last year, I dressed as a Bee,(with a turtle neck that had Boo's and all over it) underneath costume,. I Was a Booo Bee. A Boobie
My husband one year wore a suit, and when people asked him what he was, he took a pair of panties, out of his pocket and he said he was a UnderTaker. It was fun. I also am looking for a costume idea. Something simple and creative.LOL Arent' we All. Good Luck

You could always go as the girl from "The Ring" - she's creepy, scary and I doubt anyone else will dress as her. All you need is a white nightgown-type dress and a long black wig over most of your face. (Of course, if you already have long dark hair then that's a bonus! :D)

Then for make-up you just need some dark eyeshadow worked under the eyes, blueish lips and some pale powder. You can buy very decent white face powder on eBay or just mix regular face powder with a bit of talc, which is what I used to do.

You can make it even more creepy by adding fake blood in scratches on your arms, or streaks of dirt where she has climbed up from the well.

The only flaw with this costume is that it looks best with bare feet, maybe with a bit of mud on them for effect, but if you were thinking of going Trick or Treating, or going to someone else's party, then for shoes you could try some very simple white/brown flat pumps?

I might do that costume next year! xxx

bear attack vic

by spins the thread of life
A few years ago we made my son a bear attack victim. We made a Tshirt iron-on that said on the front "save the grizzlies". On the back it had a picture of a grizzly and said " have to hugged a bear today?".
We then ripped up the shirt and stained it with red and brown art paints.
We shredded the sleeves and gave him fake wounds on his arms and face. Here comes the gross part. I took large welt cord (that you find in the sewing center for cording the bottom of table skirts, etc...) and sewed it back and forth to look like intestines. We painted them red/with the white of the welt. We left a section "trailing" out the front and made him a girdle from pantyhose and sewed the intestines to the front . We ripped the shirt so that the guts showed. It was simple, cheap and went over well with his friends.

get a cardboard box cut holes for head and limbs and wrap with christmas paper and a box and put a tag that says to women from God. (Gods gift to women) depending on <deleted> or religion you can change the tag of course.
