Remember Nestor?

Postby Winnie Sanderson on Sat Nov 18, 2006 12:50 pm

My all time favorite childrens christmas show was Nestor the Long-eared Christmas Donkey. Anyone else remeber this one? They don't play it on tv much but I was lucky to find a VHS about 5 years ago.

This is my wife's favorite special, which she hasn't seen in years. I really need to find a DVD copy of this for Christmas this year. It's a shame the specials with the Nativity are shown less frequently than the Santa shows.

ohmy!! This is my favorite Christmas cartoon ever!! We got it on DVD a couple of years ago. It was on the same DVD as The Year Without a Santa Claus. I don't know why Nestor didn't make it bigger, it's very sweet.

That's great you are getting it for your wife! I think it's just darling! I'm going to have to watch it soon. "Ears, Nestor" daaaaaaaaaaah, I'm already starting to get weepy.

*waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah*

It's very sad but at the same time, it's kind of not because she sacrificed herself for Nestor the way Jesus later sacrificed himself for us. That's deep for a half hour cartoon. *sniffle*

Very nice Freezin!

I'd take back your coal, but alas.... that's not in my job description.

As far as I know Pete, I never got a lump. But considering that coal is actually a petrolium product, and the way fuel prices are headed. It just might be as valuable as gold in a few years.
