moonlight snow

Postby snow moon » Tue Dec 02, 2008 4:38 pm

Moonlight glistening on the snow
The beauty hidden in its glow
Pure and white fluffy flakes fall
Illuminated by the street lamp tall
Looking out my frosted window
At the beautiful winter show
Tree limbs covered in ice
Trapped in its cold vice
The brisk winter air blows
Freezing your ears and nose
Snow falls covering the town in white
This truly is a beautiful sight
Christmas, children, is not a date. It is a state of mind.

Almost seven years after it was posted here, but really nice poem. It has added to my hope even more for a white Christmas this year.
