I actually really like the travel channel during the early part of fall/Halloween. They show a ton of specials on haunted places and shows like most haunted where a team of investigators spend the night in haunted castles and houses. I usually spend every evening watching these shows. I have to admit however that by the end of October, I am pretty freaked out from watching these types of shows!

I watch that too. I also watch AMC, they show all kinds of specials at Halloween. I wish there was a channel dedicated to Halloween that we could watch all year round.

Another good channel to keep you eye on is the history channel. They have a lot of halloween specials as well. In fact, here is a link to some video clips of the types of things that they show: http://www.historychannel.com/exhibits/ ... page=video
I stubmbled on this about 2 months ago when I started getting halloween fever.

Has anyone noticed that they are slowly starting to show horror/halloween movies on t.v.? I was flipping through the channels las weekend and saw that there were a large number of movies playing like, the shining, the witches of eastwick and others as well. I think they start early kind of how department stores will start playing Christmas music early in the fall, just to get the thought of the holiday on your mind........maybe.

Oh I love getting into the holiday spirit! I think it's good for the soul because it makes me happy, so I love it when stores start playing holiday music and setting up displays early.

In fact my boyfriend surprised me the other day by putting up a few Halloween decorations for me. He knows I obsess over the holidays and thought I would like to come home to see Halloween stuff. I really enjoyed that, but I wish it wasn't so dang hot outside!

Fall, please hurry up! I need you! :)

I noticed that the angle of the sun has started to shift in the sky.....to me that usually means that the summer will soon begin winding down. The next step will be fore the temps to cool down and then finally the colors of the leaves changing, it's getting close!

Yes, by mid September we should start to see the beginning of Fall here in the mid Atlantic. I can't wait, Summer has always just been the time to look foward to fall for me.
