I'll feel a lot better when it gets down into the double digits! ;-)

Where I live...I'm lucky if I see anything in August. The Dollar Tree is pretty good for well...the early holiday stuff. I know they always jump ahead for holidays like Christmas and Easter.
Although...what kind of sucks is that I remember either last year or the year before...I started seeing Christmas stuff before Halloween stuff! The only thing that came close to Halloween stuff was "fall harvest" stuff.
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,

Wow.
Our local Dollar Tree is good about getting their Halloween stuff out early and in abundance. They usually have all kinds of nice trinkets. Their offerings are nothing really special, but for a buck you can't beat them.

Oh yeah definately. You can find all kinds of nice stuff at the dollar tree stores.
Last year I found some of those skull goblets, but in different colors!
And I've also found these little bears with costumes sitting on a pumpkin that I found a previous year.
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,

I'm taking an oath to myself that I'll be getting serious about my yard haunt planning once the double digits come.

My kid's school always has a "100 days of school" party. It might be fun to have a "100 days till Halloween" celebration. I may start pulling one thing out a day to celebrate.
I will start small, then add the bigger stuff later.
I think I will start with a new pumpkin candle. I got it a few weeks ago, but just put it in the closet.

That is a PERFECT idea!!!!!!!! I am totally going to do that, too! I love these forums. I can't believe I never thought of that. Taking one decoration out per day. That would be so fun to watch the house get more and more haunted. Thanks shanda!

Okay, so we're almost at the hundred day mark.
I went to Big Lots looking to see if they had started putting out any of their Halloween stuff yet. Alas, they had not. This is relevant (at least to me) because when I first see Halloween decorations in a store, that begins the pre-season as far as I'm concerned.
