Horror Movie Opening Sequences....

Post by Big_Guh » Wed Oct 31, 2007 4:12 pm

Is there a better opening sequence to a horror movie than Halloween 4??? As a reminder, or for those who haven't seen it, as the movie's opening credits roll a handful of rural Halloween scenes are shown with ominous music. There's an old barn and tractor with decorations, an eerie ghost hanging from a creepy tree, etc. Just really sets the tone and conjures up the spirit of the holiday quite nicely.

Hmm.... I'm not sure if I've ever seen that one. I'll have to check it out. I think we have it on 'OnDemand'.

Yes...it is good. I have always liked the very simple, yet extremely EERIE music of John Carpenter in his movies. "The Haunted House" song is so totally spooky...I love it.
