I got the most awesome Friday the 13th present

Post by Spooky » Fri Oct 13, 2006 4:46 pm

A friend of mine sent me a CD today ...it is for the Halloween party, and on it are all the horror movie background music, she finds me the coolest stuff, and it had all the Friday the 13th music...I love part 3's music the best, and all the different backgrounds to Halloween-even "Don't Fear the Reaper", and she put other songs on there..like Thriller, and Somebody's Watching Me, and Flesh for Fantasy! I am so excited!! :D :D :D

I made myself a Halloween Mix Cd last night of the punk/new wave/alternative variety. Here's the song list:

1) Bela Lugosi's Dead - Bauhaus
2) Zombie Dance - The Cramps
3) Blood Visions - Jay Reatard
4) Fade Away & Radiate - Blondie
5) Under The Milky Way - The Church
6) Creature With The Atom Brain - Roky Erickson and the Aliens
7) Don't Fear The Reaper - The Mutton Birds
8) Ant Invasion - Adam and the Ants
9) Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) - David Bowie
10) These Hands - The Damned
11) Zombies - The King Khan & BBQ Show
12) Bloodstains - Agent Orange
13) Halloween - Siouxsie and the Banshees
14) See No Evil - Television
15) Attack of the Ghost Riders - The Raveonettes
16) 25 O'Clock - Dukes of the Stratosphere
17) Killing Moon - Echo and the Bunnymen
18) Halloween - Dream Syndicate
19) Suffer - Smashing Pumpkins

Anybody want a copy, hit me up . . .

I totally recommend throwing in some Billy Idol:

Flesh for Fantasy
Eyes without a Face
and
Rebel Yell, all work for Halloween.....

I was thinking about doing a Volume 2 with "Eyes Without a Face", Psychedelic Furs' "The Ghost In You", Gary Numan's "Something's In The House", B-52's "Strobe Light" and many many others.

How exciting. The day kind of came and went for me. I kept forgetting it was Frday the 13th until I wrote it on a check or something. Darn...now it is over.

Oh well

I would love to have a copy but no "Everyday Is Halloween" by Ministry? That is one of the anthems for people like us IMO.
"I dress this way just to keep them at bay 'cause Halloween is every day."-Ministry
