For the outside what kind of space is it?? If you can put up tombstones lights - maybe those skeletons that appear to be coming out of the ground, lots of cobwebs, jack-o-lanterns.

For inside more cobwebs - fog machines - strobe lights - Since it is a haunt make it really dark.....hang trashbags or other cheap black material to form pathways....spooky sounds from a CD player. Stuff old cloths with newspaper and put a creepy mask over the head and set on a chair. Maybe have one person actually in it to scare people.

Great!!! Make use of the space....perhaps some hay bales....scarecrows (have a few people dressed up as scarcrows to scare people) Use lots of lighting effects.

Well, I think one tradition we Americans like is the old fashion hay ride and haunted corn mazes. Pumpkin carving is a must too.
