My ex boyfriend got me a copy of The Worst Witch last year, I love that movie! Tim Curry is way too fabulous for a straight man.

And I had totally forgotten about the Disney Halloween until I read it on here, man I wish I could see that again. Talk about great childhood memories, that was from when I was about 7 to 10 years old, and the best Halloweens of my life.
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Recently, on my blog I wrote about Disney's Halloween Treat. And in that entry I included a link to download the video. Link. Also, currently my blog is all Halloween, all the time.

I always enjoyed Disney's Legend of Sleepy Hallow. A little creepy in spots but enough of a touch of humor to keep it from being terryifying to little kids.

Yeah their version of Sleepy Hollow is one of my favorites. I wonder if they will show it this year but I am pretty sure it can be found on DVD.

i downloaded the copy from zombies site. other than the green (transparent) block down the middle (which is fine w/ me) it's pretty good quality (in my opinion. honestly as long as i can hear and make out what's going on, it's good enough for me)
trick or treat

Disney's Halloween Treat (the original version, with the jack-o'-lantern host, not the Magic Mirror) was released on VHS in 1984, but is now out of print. Used copies are still available — at a price.

Beats me why it's not shown on television any more. It's not scheduled between now and Oct. 26. Maybe Oct. 27-31? I'll let you know — see the television section of this board for updates.

[edit] Lyrics to the Halloween Treat theme song
Calling one and all tonight; It's hoping at the Hall tonight; Drop in at the ball tonight; Disney's Halloween Treat

Creatures on the prowl tonight; Creatures fair and foul tonight; They'll meet you there to howl tonight; at Disney's Halloween Treat

Black cats and bats and ghosts; Make most attractive hosts; They're dying to dance with you; so play that haunting refrain!

Tricks and treats to try tonight; We'll be riding high tonight; You're spirit's going to fly tonight Disney's Halloween Treat, Disney's Halloween treat!

It's a scream!
