Have a favorite Christmas Album or CD?

Post a pic of it here and tell us about it.

Bing Crosby's White Christmas

With all that great '40's big band era music.

Not just the all time best

selling christmas single,

but it's also a great movie.

Check out Wikipidia's entry and get updated on White Christmas.

Loads of trivia is there on the song and the movie!

As far as other holiday movies go,

you can't forget "Holiday Inn".

Bing Crosby

Fred Astaire

Marjorie Reynolds

and Virginia Dale.

I'm not listening to anything yet, still a little too soon for me. But the Chipmunks Christmas cd is a definite listen for me every year.

 , squarejelly, I used to have that on vinyl! Had the Muppets Christmas album too...those were the days. :D Sadly, my mom was a cleaning freak and had the bad habit of throwing out our stuff without consulting us first. My record player AND records disappeared one day ...I still remind her of that-she feels I'll never let her play it down, and I probably won't. Especially since she tossed all her Doors, Beatles, Rolling Stones, and CSN records too!! WHAT THE???!!

Andy Williams,

"It's the most wonderful time of the year"

I absolutely LOVE that song! You hear that,

and you just visualize the snow, the good

feelings. It's such a positive & happy song.

THE VENTURES CHRISTMAS ALBUM Dan Ackroyds favorite group does Christmas songs as if they were at a kegger. So you get FROSTY THE SNOWMAN sounding like TEQUILA.

THE PHIL SPECTOR CHRISTMAS ALBUM The guy who made those Wall of Sound records in the 60's like YOU'VE LOST THAT LOVEN FEELEN' does Christmas music. Atomic blast work out of SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN..and the anguish of being away with CHRISTMAS (BABY PLEASE COME HOME) complete with pulsing strings that come off like Blackhawk helicopters
Run run Rudolph, Santa's got to make it on time..

This is Air Supply's first and so far, only Christmas Album. This year's it's 20th anniversary.

songs on it:

White Christmas

The First Noel

The Little Drummer Boy

The Eyes Of A Child-an original song written by Air Supply singer and song writer, Graham Russell and Ron Bloom

Silent Night

The Christmas Song

Sleigh Ride

Love Is All-an another original song written by Graham Russell

Winter Wonderland

O Come All Ye Faithful

They're cute on Sleigh Ride and Winter Wonderland.

My 5 faves:

1 The Eyes Of A Child

2 Love Is All

3 Sleigh Ride

4 Winter Wonderland

5 The First Noel

O holy night! The stars are brightly shining,

It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.

Long lay the world in sin and error pining.

Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth...

HIM's Dark Light album... oh! Christmas music. Let's see... the selection that I've brought to work includes the Muppet's Christmas Carol and Celtic Women- Celtic Christmas. I haven't listened to that since July... hey, when it's +110*F outside, I'll play anything to feel a bit cooler. =P

I have just got: NOW that's what i call christmas.most is fun.a lot is junk, but at the end there are a few beautiful sung choral choirs singing christmas songs.well worth getting just for those 4 or 5 choral songs in my opinion.
