Foreign Holiday Customs

I posted this on Halloween.com but I find it so interesting that I had to post it here as well. I realize that Christmas is an amalgam of customs from other countries, but there are some things that are still indigenous to a particular region. Does anyone incorporate any foreign customs into their Christmas celebration? I always thought that foreign holiday customs were fascinating.
