When you find the perfect gift...

Don't you just LOVE IT when you find the perfect gift for someone? I found something today that my mom has been wanting, but being the girl that she is, would never spend the money on herself. I'm so excited, I can hardly stand to wait 'til Christmas to give it to her!

something very wonderful happens when I do.
It's like that 'click in my head' that Paul Newman talks about in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF.
The hand goes out almost on it's own, and I grab the thing. Perfect.

It's great fun to find the perfect gift. Usually, I'm really good at gift giving. Lately it's been hard, never seems to be enough time for finances. But I love giving things that make people really gasp.
