I had some left over paper, and I had 2 Halloween garlands that were tangled up and I couldn't get them untangled, so I cut them apart and used them to do this....it hides the stuff in my cabinets:

This is my favorite thing:

Me and my mom said if everyone had one of these, that the world would be a much better place. He sings: Mahna-Mahna Do Do Dee Do Do (I remember that from the puppet show)...It cracks us up, his mouth moves, and he wiggles his feet and hands like your tickling his belly- our dog does the same thing. Every time we go by him, we press his foot, and it just makes you stop and smile:

These are my treat bags...I used napkins to shove inside them to look like tissue paper.

They have 2 kinds of packs of pumpkin seeds in them
Halloween Pop Rocks
Heath Bars
Other candy bars
candy corn taffy
a pack of tombstones stickers
a Tattoo
a Skull Ring

then I give everyone a caramel apple that is all decorated with M&M's or candy carn:

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....Spooky IS the DECOR MASTER!!!
you know, I'll bet you could sponsor a seminar at the B&B in the fall and get people to come from all over (like Virginia   )and we could bill you as the expert interior decorator par exellance for Halloween. That would really be fun, sort of a make and take idea, with of course great food and fun mixed in. Let's plan that for next year, huh??? I'm In!!! Spooky the whole place looks FABULOUS. Many cudos to you, o talented one.You know, Spooky, we're looking for something here, that gives us some dirt, a hint of scandal...but nothin' Salt of the earth is what we are hearin' And we LOVE you for it!!!! Rock on, Decor Master, Rock on!!!!!! 8)

Hooch...that is a cool idea. I have thought about doing something along that line, but when I try and think of how to fit it in and how to advertise for it...I am not sure how to do it. It would be a blast. It would be cool to just have a group of people from off this board hook up for a weekend, of hanging out...exchanging ideas, and recipes, and even doing a gift exchange thing in person, and watching scary movies., I would love to do a sit down fancy Halloween dinner...I think that would be really cool. In the afternoons, we could all carve pumpkins, and share tips on that, that would be fun. If it was the first weekend of October...they do a Harvestfest right across the street from my house, with food vendors, and crafts and people can just walk across a little bridge from my house to the park/building it is in, and it would be a fun thing to do in the afternoon. It would be relaxing too....to just have people hanging out...make some warm apple cider or cocoa and lounge out in the hot tub.

It's like something I really should do...next year around the end of August I should see who all would be interested.

Your house looks like a haunted carnival ride! Love all your drecorations and the way you lay them out. The treat bags are awesome and you must of love putting all your neat things around!

I am having my grown up party this Saturday. My husband is a teacher and it is kind of like the school staff Halloween party so it will be really interesting to see all the costumes and make my home a place where they can reallly let loose on this great holiday!

Thanks for sharing the pictures.
