Gumdrop Trees

Postby Snow-flake » Mon Nov 27, 2006 10:48 pm

We always had one every year. Did anyone else ever have one? I know they still make them. I just was eating gumdrops earlier tonight, I still love them.

Well I know what you mean by a gum drop tree but we never had one at our house. We did however have a gingerbread house with a mini gum drop tree if that counts.
It's a beaut Clark, it's a beaut!

I've never made a gingerbread house...or a gumdrop tree for that matter. Maybe I should get together with my nephews and do that!

What a society we live in. Don't stand by the oven or kill your arms beating the frosting. Just buy this and watch the house of your dreams appear in minutes:

Or you could always get this, which is manmade but you can put candies or small toys inside and use it year after year.

I guess I am really a naughty girl because I WOULD buy the Wilton set. I saw a newer version of it at Walmart the other day. Geez, isn't there anything that store doesn't carry?

But THIS makes me a VERY bad girl because I would buy this set and put frosting icicles on it and snow covered punkins.

Would you expect anything less of me?

Thank you! I swear that someday we'll spend an Autumn afternoon relaxing on Snowflake's porch with all of our friends here on the board. I made a promise to myself that I will make that happen soon.

What is a gumdrop tree? Do you have pictures? If so, can you post them.

A wonderful article…. In my life, I have never seen a man be so selfless in helping others around him to get along and get working.

I have recently seen a picture, I think it is so cute and will be doing one this year. I just hope I don't eat all the gumdrops before I finish decorating.
