Sweet pumpkin soup

Post by Dark_Armanda » Fri Aug 11, 2006 10:00 pm

Ingredients-
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 2/3 c. water (or you can use evaporated milk, milk, or even melted ice cream :D )
2 tbsp. butter

Mix all ingredients together except butter and heat through on stovetop or microwave (about 5-7 minutes). Stir in butter til melted. Either serve immediately for hot soup or chill.

I just made this yesterday...it tastes a lot like pumpkin pie...I personally like it with a slice of bread dipped into it. :D
