Post by hauntmaster » Sat Sep 01, 2007 12:11 am

I'm going to spend my entire time with some family and friends for chatting and having a good cookout! After that, I am going to spend my <deleted> time with buddies for drinking and watching some horror movies!!

I'm actually all over the place this weekend. I'm directing (and acting in) a workshop at my community theater, so tonight was rehearsal. Tomorrow I'm getting a haircut, then face painting at two parties in succession, then going to my parents' for dinner. Sunday I'm going to the NY Renaissance Faire with a bunch of friends, then more rehearsal. Monday I'm going to work for part of the day to get some stuff done without the phones ringing off the hook & at some point doing lunch or dinner with a friend.

Yup, perfect weather for the Ren Faire! That garb can get pretty toasty.

Love the Ren Fair. Didn't make this year though. Tough with 3 little ones, especially a 4 month old.

It's my nephew's birthday on Monday and my husband's birthday on Tuesday... so we'll be at a BBQ party on Monday.

However, the 3-day weekend gives me ample time to pull out my boxes of Halloween and start decorating! I also plan to work on my costume a bit... and a few other things. I just hope I have enough time!

Happy to you too!

HH, it's there 'til nearly the end of the month, so you still have time. I guess 4 months is a tad young for faire; apparently they started it 30 years ago, so I guess I've been going since I was 7. The earliest photo I've seen from faire was when I was 9, putting my sis at 2 years old.

Tonight I have guests here at my B & B. I started getting out the fall decorations. I am going to paint my front porch tomorrow, and put up my orange and black buntings. We are cooking out tonight and tomorrow and going to a greenhouse tomorrow to buying mums.

I started another job working for a local gift shop and am painting custom pictures for them...so I finished a painting this morning. My husband did all the yard work. Now, we are just chilling. We plan on watching Wildhogs on DVD tonight.

I hope everyone is having a great labor day weekend. Keep it Safe.
