Oh, man.......wasn't the grandfather clock tolling at the top of the stairs in that scene at the beginning? I would have to watch it. My guess would be ten o'clock?

I believe the film was made in LA-if you look closely while the girls are walking down the neighborhood streets, you see palm trees in the background! Although the movie was "set" in Haddonfield, IL. Debra Hill, the co-director with Jon Carpenter grew up in Haddonfield, NJ-that is where they came up with the name of the town. There really is no Haddonfield, IL.

South Pasadena and Sierra Madre were two of the cities they used...and they also got some stuff in Beverly Hills. Fairly certain it was all shot in the Los Angeles area.

I LIVE ABOUT 5 MILES FROM HADDONFIELD, NEW JERSEY. I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COOL IF THE MOVIE HAD ACTUALLY BEEN SET THERE.

My aunt and uncle used to live in Haddonfield, NJ. I've been there many times. Always thought it would be a perfect setting for a horror movie!
