Monster Invasion!

Post by Pennywise11 » Wed Aug 22, 2007 9:51 am

Well I am dying to tell someone... I know its not too Halloweeny but this past week I found out some big news for my family and well.... myself... We are expecting a new little monster in our family and well he or she is schduled around the end of March to about April fools day. Planned you ask???? Nope but happy none the less... I love suprises and I love monster children and well the more the marrier I guess.... We haven't told anyone yet, not even our other already "here" two monster and are thinking around Thanksgiving time to tell them... Our Thanksgiving is in October for those who are thinking otherwise... Anyway I have been bursting at the seems and well needed to spill my guts here for a minute.

AHHHH.... Monster Baby or babies (perhaps)... are invading my home!!! Yippie!

WOW!!! I haven't got my exact date, but according to a prenatal website and the little calculator thingy it worked out to be March 27th.... hmmm perhaps our babies will share b-days! A bunch of possible April Fools!

My date was based on the measurements at my last ultrasound combined with the date of my last monthly visitor, but I'm hoping for an April fools baby, too!

Oh well thank you so much to all your well wishes! I/we are very excited about the whole event. Now I have been thinking of possible names, I know it is really early to be doing that but it is fun to imagine. The entire family is "M" names except for me, so we're trying to think of some really cool or neat or interesting M names... Any suggestions?

Well if you want that Halloween flair you could name them Moundshroud.

Or a sturdy biblical name like Mathew.

Or go for biblical and Halloween with Michael. :D

Congratulations, Ladies! Wish y'all the best! Whew, my husband and I had to stop at twin sons, 4 years ago. We figured with two at once, our work there was done. :D And they keep reminding us DAILY that are hands are full!!

My favourite boy M names are Marcus (means "sprung from Mars") and Marius (means "martial"), and my favourite girl M names are Myra (means "she who laments"), Melissa (means "a bee") and Morgan (means "of the sea") :)

I had a quick flick through my name dictionary and picked a few others that I thought sounded quite cool:

Girls:

Maelona - (means "princess")
Marguerite - (means "pearl")
Marisa - (means "summit")
Maria - (means "star of the sea")
Millicent/Millie - (means "work and strength")

Boys:

Madison - (means "son of Matthew")
Magnus - (means "great")
Micah - (means "who is like the lord"?)
Myles - (means "soldier")

There really are some lovely names - I'm going to either have a lot of kids or my kids are going to have a lot of names! lol
