Here's the music I've got so far to download, please add to the list if you think I've forgotten a classic!

1. Theme from the X-files
2. Thriller
3. Humanoids from the Deep
4. Theme from Twilight Zone
5. The Monster Mash
6. Ghostbusters
7. Witch Doctor
8. The Munster's Theme
8. I Want Cnady (original)
9. Tubular Bells (Mike Oldfield)
10. A Nightmare On My Street (go Fresh Prince!!)
11. Somebody's Watching Me
12. Theme from Halloween
13. Theme from The Addams Family
14. Out of Limits
15. Martian Hop

I feel like I'm missing something...

For the movie side of things, although my guests and I are teenagers, I think a few of us would appreciate a moderately scary movie as opposed to a omg-lock-the-doors-latch-the-windows-hide-under-the-couch one. :D So I was thinking something along the lines of It? A classic- I think just scary enough. If you've got a better suggestion, though, (a non-gory one, preferably, I gag at the sight of blood) that would be excellent! Thank you so much!

Sounds like an awesome music line-up. As for the movie...hmmm. I am not a big movie buff so I cant really think of anything too out of the ordinary other than the classics. I personally would steer away from horror movies because the blood and gore make some people's stomach's turn.

Freddy is more funny then anything... I just love him)... Poltergeist,.... Scary Movie series would be good I suppose, a spoof on various horror flicks..... Geesh there is so many but I am drawing a blank right now..... American Psycho.... Rockey Horror Picture Show.... The Changling..... Exorcist...... Howling.... Ooooh making Halloween music CDs is so fun! I made 7 last year and a Horror Movie Music Quiz CD (onto which I put all the horror movie themes like Halloween, The Exorcist etc) and got people to write down the name of the film that they thought it was from (and for bonus points, the title of the song) and gave out prizes. It was a great laugh!

If you like I could send you a copy of the music lists I made for my CDs so you can have a peek for inspiration? I picked a lot from my personal library and some are kind of obscure like Within Temptation and Garbage songs, but it was a good mix of music and if you want any mp3s that you can't find elsewhere, I can send you them via email? :)

Why thank you MHooch! *blushes* Feel free to nab it - it was excellent fun and I will be doing it again this year for sure :D

Oooh in fact, if you were doing a Harry Potter party, you could do a quiz with quotes from the books recorded onto a cd, and then the party-goers have to guess who said it and get extra points if they can say which book it came from :D
