I always like getting regular sized candy bars, not the mini's!! We really thought the people who gave those were COOL 8). And a neighbor of my grandmother's (she lived in town, we didn't so most of my TOTing was done there) used to make us shiny red candy apples...YUM!!

I always liked getting a lollipop wrapped in a napkin with ribbon to look like a ghost...with a little face drawn on it. Anyone remember getting those?

OMIGOSH! I remember those liquid-filled wax bottles...they used to have them behind the counter at Thrifty Mart! Sometimes you would get these in your treat bag but they were easily crushed!!

I never saw them shaped like monsters though! That would be fun!

WE HAD AN OLD LADY THAT USED TO MAKE CARAMEL APPLES WITH CRUSHED NUTS ON TOP. THEY WEREN'T MY FAVORITE, BUT WE STILL LOVED TO GET THEM!! BTW, ANYONE REMEMBER THE OLD KRAFT COMMERCIALS AT HALLOWEEN, SHOWING THE APPLES BEING DIPPED IN THE CARAMEL, SURROUNDED BY COSTUME DRESSED KIDS? THEY JUST DON'T MAKE COMMERCIALS LIKE THEY USED TO!

Yep, I think I remember those. I used to love the Halloween themed cartoons that would always come on for what seemed like the entire month of October. They don't make those like they used to either. To get back on topic, I used to go to a house two down from mine and get little containers of pudding. I always thought that was really really strange. As a kid, I loved it though. Some of my friends that didn't like the puddings would throw them at one another. Ahh...good times, good times indeed.

Oh man they were great. White wax shaped like witches skeletons and frankensteins filled with green juice. I miss them.
