I would love to find a copy of the ca. 1942 edition illustrated by Everett Shinn, so far no luck in locating same. Any leads would be welcome.

Hello, I am trying to find information about a book I found at an estate sale. It is a book titled “The night before Christmas” By 141 MA Donohue & Co, Chicago. It has a Santa clause on the front facing the open folder of the book with a bag on his back..the Santa is climbing down a chimney. The book is red in color and also has holly’s on the front. There is no date of publish but holds an inscription dated 12/25/10. This book also has some short stories in the back which a couple are “Christmas Bells” and “Santa Clause”. I have been searching for the book on the internet to see if I can get some more info on the possible date of the book. It is in wonderful condition other than a small tear on a page in the back of the book.

If you may have any advice or information regarding this book it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Jamie Ranae`
