Spinach Balls

Post by Spooky » Wed Oct 18, 2006 3:25 pm

I never made these ever, but I know they are popular, so I am going to make them this year, and thought I'd share the recipe.

2 (10oz) packages of frozen spinach-drained well
3/4 c melted butter
1 small onion-finely chopped
1/2 c. fresh grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 c. season bread crumbs

In a large bowl, combine ingredients, mix well

Roll in to 2 inch walnut size balls

Chill 2 hours

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes

That sounds absolutely delicious! Let me know how they turn out!
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

These appetizers are great. Even better, they freeze very well, so you can make them ahead for any parties and just reheat when you need 'em.
