Friday the 13th party

Post by geekmidwinter » Wed Oct 18, 2006 2:52 pm

I have a friend who's birthday is October 12th, so this year we decided to throw him a Friday the 13th party. My sisters Amy and Holly dressed up as counselors, and Holly's fiancee dressed up as the bad boy from "town" who sneaks into camp and and they both get killed by Jason. I know it's a stretch, but he had a great mullet wig he wanted to wear. My boyfriend dressed as Jason, and I wore my halloween apron, and was the camp chef. We're mostly big nerds, but it was a lot of fun, so I thought I would share with you guys, enjoy!

I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Those were so cool.

I wanna know where they got their counselor outfits too. I love those. The headbands and whistles and even the shorts, those were so awesome.

I made the shirts, printed out the designs on iron-on transfers. They say "Camp Crystal Lake" and have a picture of a cabin, a hockey mask and a machete. Thanks, I'm so glad you guys like it!

That is even cooler that you made them! They looked like sets that went together. Are your sisters twins??

I loved that whole idea....I told my friend about it, because she lives near the real camp that the first Friday the 13th movie was filmed at, and I wanna go there with her some day soon. They frown upon fans of the movie going there...they have gotten to many weirdos going there and doing bizarre stuff, so I can understand that, but I don't think I'd ever be sending my kid there to boy scout camp, no way.

It is exactly the same as it was.

Yep, they're twins. They bought the shorts, socks and blank shirts at Academy, and whistles to go with them.

That looks really awesome!! Thanks for the great pictures!

I've got a shirt that says Camp Crystal Lake, that I got from an online vendor (but they suck so no link).
