I HAVE AN IDEA

Post by thislazylife » Tue Nov 07, 2006 9:09 pm

There are approximately 358 days to go until Halloween 2007. I am going to try and post something everyday that I think Halloweenists will enjoy, ie. yard haunt links, horror movie links, etc. until October 31st rolls around again.
ANY OF YOU WHO WANT TO JOIN ME IN THIS ENDEAVOR ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO DO SO! I am going to date each submission, that way we can visit the forums each day and it will feel like everyday is Halloween . . .

Here is my first submission:

November 7th 2006.

http://www.retrojunk.com/details_trailer/146/

Enjoy!
Laurie stares at the station wagon as it moves past. She looks directly at The Shape inside. There is a quick glimpse of him, a strange pale face staring back.

Good choice! I love Dawn of the Dead (the original, folks!). I'm a big zombie nut from way back and those George Romero zombie flicks have always given me the cold shivers! Eww

A dream of Halloween every day...sounds like a nice little mental vacation that a few people could use from time to time...

Woooooaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhaaaaaa!!

You colonials and your undisciplined ways :-)

I think it's a great idea but there's still 300 plus days to go so don't shoot off all your bullets before Christmas.

(Guess who's bored at work but struggling for something to write...........yes, me!)
The steeples are white in the wild moonlight,
And the trees have a silver glare;
Past the chimneys high see the vampires fly,
And the harpies of upper air,
That flutter and laugh and stare.

Good morning all! Well its almost Friday thank goodness and I have to drag myself out of bed this morning to come to work. We are having a total rain storm here and the sky is a dark grey. I can picture myself home loungin but if I had to be anywhere else on a day like today it would be here....especially during the work hours! LOL....

Neat horror/haunt industry podcast. It's really awesome to listen to...they play horror-related songs and review horror movies. Then they interview people involved in horror movie or haunted houses, or even people who make props. They also do give-aways.

My favorite lines: "He's gone! The evil's gone from here!"

I think everyone wanted to start the thread off big. We can get into the littler links whenever...the first links had to be cool! Banish those icky post-Halloween blues.

That link to the NTC parade was awesome. Now I have two places I want to go for Halloween, Salem, Mass. and NYC!
