Irish traditions?
Does anyone know of any Christmas traditions from Ireland? My brother-in-law is Irish and really into his heritage--I was hoping to find him a gift related to both Christmas and Ireland.

That is a good question, I did find a few answers that talk about Irish Christmas traditions:
1. A Candle in the Window - placing a candle in the window
2. Laden Table - food for the tired, wandering traveler.
3. Holly wreaths.

Thank you very much!
I'm going to pass these along to my sister. She's having her first baby in March. I know that she and her husband will want to start creating special Nichols family traditions.
