Re: Christmas is taking over Halloween!

I agree. They both are part of the entire season which makes both of them more entertaining!

Re: Hello there!

Welcome, glad to see you here! Cat decorations can be hard to find sometimes, but I found a few in California when I was visiting one time. I have seen some since, if I can find some pictures and upload them I will do so. I enjoy the preparation for Christmas and the entire build-up to it. Hi this i...

Re: Season's Greetings from the Great White North!

Are you starting to prepare now? Christmas is wonderful! Merry Christmas! I am a stay-at-home mom of 2 beautiful girls (8 years and 6 years). I love to read and do computer-type stuff. I volunteer at my girls' school a couple times a week, in the library; it's great. But most of all I LOVE Christmas...

Re: Snow?

A nice fresh Christmas snow is the best. (As long as you don't have to shovel a driveway or drive on the highways, sleighs help there). I just can not enjoy snow after Christmas. I love snow at Christmas because it makes it look so cheerful. But after Christmas it is just too cold, gets in the way o...

Disney does do a nice job with their Christmas decorations every place we have visited. The ships are no exception.

Re: Snowfall in Baghdad

It is humbling to think 100 years. 1907-1908 winter was the previous last snowfall. 5 year old kids playing in the snow in amazement. Now they'd be 105.

But Here's The Start Christmas elf In the dimness of the days before Christmas you may hear the tinkling of a little bell. Then you know that a Christmas elf is somewher...

Re: Who wrote the poem?

It is amazing, the amount of scholarship that has been devoted to the poem. I think the vast majority of scholars believe it was Moore, but I don't think that it will be settled definitively for a long time (if ever).

Re: Christmas is taking over Halloween!

I think it might be more accurate to say that Halloween has been closing on Christmas. :-) It also depends on the criteria.

Re: Gingerbread houses on the Disney Magic

This is the Gingerbread house on the Disney Magic, it is huge. I imagine that the Disney wonder has a similar display. While the kids below did not eat it, it looked as if someone else had been nibbling! I was just about to post these on Cruising.com (http://www.cruising.com/forums/disney-cruise-shi...
