What do you make?

What traditional things do you make every year, or what do you remember your family making as a kid? My one grandma always made apricot and prune rolls...like nut rolls. I would kill for some of my grandma's chicken noodle soup, it was awesome-she made home made noodles. I love nut roll, it is one o...

It is pop/soda. It is made out of grapefruit juice, but it has other stuff in it, and I love it. I had some tonight. I have only ever seen it sold in 2 liter bottles.

I met another person from Nova Scotia from another website. It sounds beautiful there. I have looked at Bed N Breakfast places in Nova Scotia. (Cause I own one-I mentioned that on the Halloween website)....but..one of my other favorite websites is: http://www.bbonline.com and you can look at Inns in...

I love to drink "Squirt" around Christmas , I don't know why...it isn't something I can't drink all year. But, there's something about it at Christmas that I like...I think it is getting a bunch of crushed ice in a Christmas glass, and having some Squirt...while I bake cookies, and listen to Christm...

How old were you when?

You found out the truth about Santa??? I was in the 4th or 5th grade, and I remember this mean boy telling me he wasn't real, and I think I blasted him with a snowball in the face, and then ran home bawling...but my mom turned it all around for me, and I kept it going for maybe another year or 2. My...

I totally connect with your story. I am going to go see my neice for the first time this Sunday. She's a little over a year old, I have never seen her yet. I haven't seen my brother in 3 1/2 years. The thing is, he and I were as close as you could get as kids, but our parents got divorced, and he an...

GreenElf-I don't know where you live, but that sounds really fun. EvilMel-that's a yummy sounding recipe. I might have to try that one. I make a cranberry vinagrette salad dressing with fresh cranberries that you blend in the blender, and it is my all time favorite salad dressing. It has apple juice...

Dudley-The thing I found to be the saddest and most right on thing you said...was how people act all nice at Christmas, and not the rest of the year. That is my #1 gripe about the holidays...is either people put the holidays down, and complain about how much money it is costing them, and they never ...

I miss my grandparents so much at Christmas. I grew up with a big extended family, we were this family that spent every Sunday together eating Sunday dinner at the dining room table at my grandparents home. My grandparents had this house that looked like it was out of Better Homes and Gardens, with ...
