This was the first year in about 4-5 years that I didn't have to get up at like 3 something to go out. I never got anything the other times I just went with people and helped them out but it was great being able to sleep after being so full I could puke the whole previous day.

Thank you! Hopefully if I have time today I will find the ornament hooks and put up a few more balls and maybe get the railing done with the stockings.

Put the tree up this morning

As soon as I got up I started taking down all the fall/thanksgiving decorations and brought up the tree. I have things I have to do so for now that is all that's going up. Here is a quick pic of it, I hate putting up the ornaments because I know I can never scatter them good enough and I couldn't fi...

I'm not listening to anything yet, still a little too soon for me. But the Chipmunks Christmas cd is a definite listen for me every year.

I have never heard of a turducken, when I first read it I thought it was just a joke. But just last night I was flipping through the channels and came across Paula Dean as she was pulling one out of the oven, she was only calling it a turkey though. Is Turducken the actual name for it?

I have no idea so I just asked my mom she said she didn't know but she thinks I was around 6 or 7 when I stopped. But I have 3 older brothers, one which is 10 years older then me. I have a 5 year old niece that is starting to ask whether we believe or not because one of her friends who is 7 keeps te...

I don't like multi but I do like color. We always have clear but have at least one color with it, like last year on our tree we had gold with the clear. And on our outside tree with usually always have green, red and clear.

Ham, turkey or something else

I was wondering what everyone made for Christmas and I didn't see a poll so I thought I would make one. My grandmom, who makes the meals every holiday has always made a ham for xmas.

I don't cook for Thanksgiving, we all go to my grandmothers to eat every year for every holiday, she has always done it the slow roast way though. I don't like cooking meat anyway, I'm always afraid I'm not going to cook it right and poison everyone.

Growing up it started as an angel, then we got one of those stars that light up to replace it but the past couple of years we started using bows. Every year we like to have a different combo of lights on the tree and try to get a matching bow to top it off. Last year we had a string of gold and a st...
