Re: Yay I get to decorate the college campus!

Yeah I have done that before too with the black construction paper. I'm always trying to do things cheap since I never have much money to spend. Hopefully you can find some other supplies around the school that they will allow you to use.

Re: 2009 Pumpkin Carving Ideas

Very cool idea NeverMore. I hadn't thought to carve out several pumpkins for a Halloween "party is here" sign. I might try to borrow this for mine this year if I have enough time to make them. I'd like to do some kind of version of the flaming pumpkins one year as well. Here are a couple o...

Re: The Horror Mobile?

[quote="DemonSlayerMau"]Well now that I have my 2001 Mercury Sable, that car's definately gonna get decorated for Halloween. "Where could I get a window cling that looks like a skeleton is sitting in the car? Would it interfere with my being able to see out the driver's side back wind...

Re: The Horror Mobile?

Back when I was still in college and couldn't decorate much I did do some stuff to deck out my X-terra. I had some skulls of course, some suction cup blinking eyes on each side of the back seat windows, a glowing skeleton, and some static cling window stickers. I recently saw that one of the Hallowe...

Re: Your theme for 2009

Let's see... I usually change themes each year but as much as possible I pull stuff from previous ones and recycle them into the new theme. Pretty soon I'll probably reuse one or more of the theme's I've done. Usually the theme is part of the decorating and the annual Halloween party. So far this is...

I didn't mind them showing it this past weekend. Kind of a way to extend the spooky/Halloween feel for a week longer. I didn't care for the first sketch this year but I did like the last one too Pennywise. I wonder if they have any DVDs out of just the Simpson Halloween specials. That would be grea...

I think we all feel this way to some degree or another. Hang in there with the rest of us. Besides it's only 364 days until it's here again right? :)

I understand how you all feel. It's hard to find clearance Halloween stuff these days with either it being packed up before Halloween is over or being put on clearance before then too. I'm glad you found some stuff Pennywise. Please do post what you ran across and picked up. I'd love to see... anyt...

I do that Rosie... I start jotting down ideas and then sketch them out. They don't usually end up exactly like I draw out but it's a great starting point for me. Being as I don't know yet if I'll be living where I am now by Halloween next year I will have to keep any planning I do to a generalized ...

I agree with you EvilMel it's depressing to me too, even though since Oct. 14th (day after my early Halloween party) I started taking down decorations. I will take down the little bit of Halloween decorations that are still up by this weekend. I don't get to decorate much for x-mas since my roommat...

Even with bargan hunting and stuff I had last year I still probably managed to spend about $250 on decorations and such and then another $100 on food, candy, etc for our party earlier this month. So I guess I'd say about $350 this year.

Halloween night here in Tennessee. Other than being a bit damp and foggy it's around 58 degrees here. Looks like the next day or so it will get colder but it actually turned out not too bad for TOTing. Haven't done anything special for Halloween this year except go to a local mall to see the little...
